Tuesdays triumphs

Well harvesting is going along pretty good given the amount of rain we keep getting.
The are now doing the clear cutting on the east side of the house. and I have to admit that the last time I remember that the area was a field, was back when I was 6 years old and helping Dad plant the first of the trees there. That was a long time ago.

So I have been working on getting some of my classes done as I previously mentioned. So far I have finished one writing class and started the nest one, I am very behind in that one so I am going to try to do one assignment a day to catch up and hopefully I can do that soon. I also listed all the rest of my classes so that I can figure out what needs to be done. I am also slowly working on those as well. Trying to fit in a class here and there, just to get some of them done. but there are a lot of classes so it will take me several months to get them all done . But I am ok with that. because I know what I have to do and can see the faint glimmer of the light at the end of the tunnel.

Weeded part of the garden yesterday, Good heavens, with this rain, everything grows so fast , especially the weeds. Some of them were almost as tall as me. Not so fun. But going to put several of the beds to rest for a month and trimmed up the tomatoes to see if they will keep growing, If not, going to get some more, and need some more herbs, as right now the only ones that I have are Oregano, and more oregano. Everything else has disappeared.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
