I had a nice quiet weekend. I got some quilting done, some embroidery and some painting. I am really trying to clean up the unfinished projects here and that lead to finding an cross stitch project that was not finished. After staring at it for a while, I finally figured out where in the pattern I was, and now I am working on getting it finished. I still have about a million magazines to read and get the area between the two chairs cleaned up. I also need to get back to the bible journaling, as I am getting way behind.
I also managed to read a book. My problem when it comes to reading, is that I get so involved in the book that I don’t put it down until I have finished it. So I stayed up to 12:30 am to finish the book. Wow. No wonder I feel a bit wiped out.
One of my dogs thought it should try to figure out what the strange animal was in the back yard yesterday morning, and no amount of yelling at her to come seemed to work. Thankfully the animal smelt me and my husband and took off before she could get close. Sasha, it was an armadillo, it would have torn you up in a heart beat. So now we are trying to trap it and get it out of here.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
