Wednesdays Words

today has been a busy day. I have been working in the garden weeding and starting to get winter crops out so that I can start the plants for the summer. All the front gardens for the flowers are ready to go and the back garden is getting ready for the sunflowers. I harvested three large cabbage today to make Sauerkraut in the morning. I am also going to make a sweet Chili sauce. and I still want to get some marmalade made.

I have been working on a beaded bracelet and hope to get some time to work on it today, but I also have to get the kitchen cleaned up as we apparently had a bug problem with some beans and now everything is sitting on the counters. So I am going to have to take the time to reorganize the pantry.

I say several ducks flying this morning as well as a big blue heron, and then later there was a hawk sitting in the downed cedar trees, but I did not have my camera on me at the time. I did try to take photos with the phone, but never quite good enough.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
