Mondays musings

And again the weekend flew by and I did not get much done, but I did get a bit done. I ddi several painting of sunflowers, which are the national flower of the Ukraine as well and made a few other things. I got a few more things to make and a few things to finish in the artwork for this week. I also need to pull some of the large cabbages to make some sauerkraut with as well as some Eco dying of Papers. I just found a recipe to make some dipping sauce for food and I want to try to make some of that and also some marmalade this week I also have some more Fimo clay work that I want to get done. I also made four books over the weekend for doing journaling and art work in.

I have also tried my hand at making some home made soap and hope to be able to see it soon. I think that it has turned out really good, and I really love the smell of the one that I made. I have a few more to work on, and I will be getting the dehydrator set up soon to dry some herbs that I have growing so that I can use them in soap making.

I am redoing the entrance to the farm, I am bringing the fence in at about a 45 degree angle and then putting the gate up. It will aglow us to completely get off the road especially if we are hauling a trailer. I hope to get the gate so that it will require a pass code or something to get in. Just adds another layer of safety here.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
