Well I got the other desk up here, my DH calls it a dressing table, but whatever. I need to find the missing drawer and regule the one side back on and it will be ready to go. It has a glass top which will make it all the better for when I am doing work on it the actual wood will be protected. I am super excited because now my room looks really good and I feel that I can get some work done.

the crowing chicken was at it again this morning. I guess I am really going to have to figure out which one is crowing so that I can decided if it needs to go to the stewpot, or give me some eggs. Of course I have read that hens will crow like roosters when there is not one present and they are the top hen. There are other reasons that a hen might start crowing, but let’s just hope it is because she thinks she is top hen. It is a bit disconcerting at 6:15 am to hear the coop start to crow.

we got almost an inch yesterday and more rain is forecasted today so it should be interesting, The ground behind the house is saturated and squishy. and the garden is a mess. Someday soon I will have to get out there and work., and see what is left of the vegetables. the tomatoes seem to be growing strong, so that is good. I also saw two persimmons on the tree today. I hope to get them before the birds do. I need to find some more persimmon trees because I would love to have more growing. The Myer’s lemons are doing great and the other trees seem to be doing good also. Love it when I can get fresh fruit off the trees.
