Tuesdays Triumphs

Started the morning off with my bible study and baking the cusha in order to be able to freeze it for pies later down the line. I got about 12 cups from the small cusha’s which I thought was really pretty good. Sine a pie usually only needs about 2 cups there are at least 6 pies there. I still have 4 more to process, but will do them tomorrow. I also put up some sweet spicy peppers. a new recipe for me, so I need to see how they will turn out. I also got the refrigerator cleaned out and stuff moved to the other fridge for storage. makes it a bit easier to find stuff in mine now. I still need to clean the big refrigerator but that is on tomorrow list. Today I am going to just sit and work on some art projects.

I have been working on my last diamond painting. They are fun to do, but with my other painting, they just get lost in the woodwork. the last one is a horse and I really like it, Hopefully I can find room in my studio here to put it on the wall. I also have started a crochet shawl and I am using beautiful variegated yarn that has beads attached. I hope this will turn out beautiful. The yarn is very thin so it will be a nice summer shawl to wear to church I hope.

the rain has produced mushrooms like nobody’s business. I looked under the orange tree next to the big studio and it had nothing bu small mushroom under it. Thousands of them. and we have had several fairy rings too out by the road. It is raining again right now with massive thunder and lightning. it is supposed to be the end of the storm that has been sitting off the South Carolina area. it has finally broken up and moved on.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
