goodness me, 2 inches of rain this weekend on just one day. the ground here is so saturated, that the water is just now pooling wherever there is a low spot. At least we won’t have to worry about the water table for a while, the well is full.

All the rain has killed off some of the plants in the garden so I am having to do lots of canning today and also baking to get the cusha put up and also al the peppers, and everything else that I can get out. The weeds are taking over so that also needs to be address this week. I picked up fertilizer for the fruit trees and want to get that out today so the next rain can get it into the soil. That will really help as well as getting the weeds out from around the trees and adding mulch to the area. I also am cleaning out the refrigerator in the small house so that I can move some of the canned goods over there for storage, and have room in the big one here in the house as well as get the main fridge cleaned so that we can find stuff. So a very busy day for me.

I spent time over the weekend working on a few projects and still have more to do as always, but did get things started so that I can get finished. The business is starting to come together and I am about to get a storefront set up so that I can sell some of the many pieces of jewelry that I have made. I am excited about that. I also need to get some genealogy papers straighten out so that I can clean that mess up. That is also on today’s todo list.
