It really rained this weekend. and I do mean rained. Coming home from church yesterday it was so hard of a downpour that we could not see the truck in front of us. I think we got about 2 inches, and standing water everywhere.
I got the new tea garden set up on saturday now I have to hope that the seed did not get washed out of the garden. That would not be fun. the garden will have Chamomile and peppermint, Rosemary and Bee Balm that I can just pick and make tea out of. I can not wait until it grows because I am looking forward to this. I do have some rosemary and peppermint growing in the garden already and I love adding them to my tea.
My craft room is starting to look alot better, I have projects finished and others that I am about to start . I can not wait until all the extra things are done, because then I will have more room in my room. I have several cross stitch patterns to do, and needle felting that I want to learn and I already have a box full of welfts that I can use. I want to learn tatting, and I have some orgamini that I want to get done. Never mind about the two shawls that I want to crochet and one that I want to knit, and I have not knitted in 40 years, but that will decrease the amount of yarn that I have.. I also have a huge afghan to crochet, that I really want to get started. I still have some jewelry to work on but I did get the small bowls made that I wanted to do. I also have two miniature things to make, and a diamond painting to do and then some leatherwork that I want to try. That will be interesting. if that work out good, I have a few other things to do. Never mind about the trains setup and that I still have tons of quilts to do and egging. I am a busy girl.
Got some cool photos of the storm yesterday too.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
