Mondays Musings

We have had rain, lots of rain, like inches worth of rain. We have actually surpassed the total rainfall for this month for the last 6 years. I am not complaning, because we have needed the rain, Right now all the redbud trees are blooming, as well and the wild phlox on the side roads and other trees are putting out leaves like crazy. I am thinking that we have started Spring here in the south.

I am ordering seeds today for my peppers and flowers and cucumbers. Since I like to use heirloom vegetables in my garden, I usually order from a place called Seed Savers. They have a wonderful selection of seeds and plants and I have never been disappointed in what I have gotten. I think that the Garden may have to get a bit bigger this year because there will be more flowers and more vegetables going in. I am wondering where I am going to find the room for everything. But I still have to build a trellis and a scarecrow for the garden as well. So I will be working on those this next week and will post photos of them as I get them done.

I spent the weekend working on the Fimo challenge that I am in this year. so far I am up to date with it, but I worked on getting ahead. I did some dragons, some bracelets, a incense burner, some hearts, and some panda bears, as well as did to face jars. I will post photos after I get them baked today. I am also working on a miniature scene and trying to finish getting this room organized. I asked the hubby to build a small box for me to elevate the TV which them gives me some room to put things under it. and I reorganized a few things that opened up some shelves for me. All which is good. I hope that I will soon get this under control.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
