for the last two nights I have woken up with ideas to write on my blog, except by the time I wake up in the morning, they have vanished. So I picked a different topic today.
As most of you have seen in the weather reports, the Sahara sand storm has hit the southern states. I will tell you that it is hard to breath if you venture outside, and those that stay out, such as the people who are doing yard work are really feeling it, and have shortened their time outside. The weather has not been normal either. you think that it is cloudy and going to rain, but No it is sand haze and no rain in site. I have taken a few photos so that those who are not experiencing this can see what I mean. The first on I took Sunday morning on the way to church, Taken about 730 am and you can tell that the sky is a bit weird. Those are not clouds, but sand in the clouds
The second is sunset taken out at the prairie here in town, the sun looks a bit more normal but still is off a bit from what you would expect.
Sorry about the power lines. I need to go back and fix the photo. I did get lots of other wonderful photos of the wildlife during that time as well, but today I will share just photos of the sunset.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
