I had a wonderful time at the beach. Took a long walk and picked up some shells and some small crab bodies that the crab had molted. I want to use them in art work with some of the new resin that I have gotten. I know, I am a bit crazy with the things that pop into my head that I want to do.
I also spent time working on an egg kit that I had gotten from a friend about 4 years ago and had not started to do it until this weekend. Right now I am having the fun of getting all the little beads on the outside with glue. It will take several days to get just the outside done. Then I can finish it up. It was one of several projects that I wanted to get done before the end of the month. I still have about 3 more kits that I want to get done. Then it is all my ideas that I need to do.
It rained the other night. 3.75 inches in about 2 hours. The garden is taking off and Now I am trying to keep up with all the things coming in. Beans and cucumbers and there are lots of small tomatoes to pick. The big tomatoes are not doing as good as I would like to see. I think that just one so far has actually bloomed and two don’t look like they will ever grow. And they are Heirloom plants. This virus that is attacking us here in the states kept my favorite company from shipping out plants this year. So just getting some from the different places in town, and they are not good plants. So I don’t know if we will get anything or not. Thank goodness for the volunteers. My sunflowers are also blooming and there are two groups of midgets (only about 3 ft tall) in the mix and they are so cute.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
