Goodness, what a day yesterday and today a bit. I feel like I am so far behind, that I will never get caught up. Or should I say, I have too many projects for all the time that I don’t have. And I am trying to do them all. I did finish a quilt top yesterday and hope to have the next one done tomorrow and started the third today. At least these are smaller tops, more the single bed, or lap size and some are even hanging quilts. All though for some reason, they seem to take the longest. I Think because they have a lot of applique on them, so it takes longer to do.
The second volunteer plant in the garden happens to be a ground tomato, very similar to tomatillos in the look of them, but sweeter. It is already putting out the fruit so, something else to can here in a few weeks. The cabbages, which looked fine yesterday, have now been eaten by something, So we got two out of the five that we planted. Guess I should have pulled them yesterday. And the sunflower started to bloom last night.
I have started to play around with a glass sphere ball in taking some of my photos. I want to get good at using it, and there is definitely a learning curve , so I will be practicing for the next few months. I think that it might work better with landscapes and building, rather then flowers, but only time will tell.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
