Wednesdays Words

I got the bulbs planted today along with the rest of the flower seeds. and did a bunch of weeding around the day lilies which are blooming right now.  I also worked on a quilt and got most of it done, while trying to cut out fabric for the rest and for the next quilt.  I have a few things that are due in the next few days, so I am going to spend the rest of the day working on them as well as try to finish a bracelet that I started.   I think that I need to go spend time in the blind to get some quiet time to do some work.

It is really bad when you try to go into the studio room upstairs and all the animals want to come with you.  Now if they would all lie down and take a nap,  that would be ok,  but just one has to stay awake and try to get into mischief.  The dogs want to get into the room before you, and try to trip you to do so.  The cats then meander in and stop to sniff every thing in site.  One will eventually curl up in a chair and take a nap, while the other hides under a table.  and then when she thinks you are not paying attention and are busy involved in what you are doing,  she will get a hold of something and chew on it.  String, ribbon, cords, you name it, even thread with a needle attached, and a trip to the vet to get all of it removed because she did not just chew,  she ate it.  I never get anything done when she is in my room, because I am always watching her.

Well,   that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
