Ummmm, oh dear, looks like we had a visitor. and he/she left a present. I think about 6-7 feet long and about 5 feet from the hen house. I am missing one of the fake eggs that we put in the hen house, soooo, my visitor may have eaten it. I am not sure what kind of snake it is, but it is Not a rattle snake.
I spent some time out in the blind this past week and it was so nice. The second the sun came up, the birds all burst forth into song. It was so lovely to hear and so peaceful. I just sat and took photos of the turkeys and the deer that walked thru. I have realized that I need to use a unipod to help with the photos because with the big camera, I am shaking alot.
I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter. I certainly did, and just messed around playing with various things in the craft room. Did not cook or clean anything, Also did a bunch of bible reading to calm the spirit.
I got some planting done in the garden, and flowers are blooming everywhere. It is definately spring, since the pollen is outrageous. My poor DH can not breath hardly at all. I have also gotten back into the shop and started quilting again. I am behind, but I did get the material reorganized. and stuff cleaned up. Still have a long way to go on the cleaning, but the craft room is looking better and things are actually getting done there.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
