Well, Nothing like walking outside and your husband asking if the cat is out and you say noooooo, why? and he says tht he just saw something near the trash cans. Turns out it is a coyote pup. Now we have seen three we think hanging up by the garden and the chicken coop, Not worried about the chickens, they live in Ft KNOX. literally, not but the coop is built tht way. So now we have to figure out how to get them out of here.
With all the rain that we have been having, the wild mushrooms have been sprouting. I found two different ones in the yard yesterday. The one group was so small that I almost did not see them. But I did and I got a few photos of them because they were so delicate. I got busy and put up 5 quarts of Dill pickles, 14 cups of Sphagetti sauce in two cup containers (now frozen) and three containers of eggplant parmesean. One busy morning.
It has been raining so good that I need to cut a few of my crepe myrtles back, They ahve goot so big that they re rubbing on the house so that is todays project. I am sure that I will find other projects to do as well. I spent part of last week working on catching up on making books for the Handmade book club, (https://vintagepagedesigns.com/) I am really enjoying making books each month.
Well thats all the news, See ya down on the farm
