Goodness, it has been a fair amount of time since I sat down to write this blog. I either need more hours in the day, of I need a brain that remembers to write it. So that being said, I am going to try to remember to write this as I should.

Something interesting happened this year. I was out in the garden and found some caterpillars. I thought that they might be monarchs, but they were blue swallowtails. There were 6 caterpillars, so I got them into a tall jar along with some food and, gosh darn it, if two have not hatched already. I have let them go and now am waiting for the others to hopefully hatch out. they are all in pupae stage right now. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have also had great luck with the garden so far. Tons of cucumbers, and tomatoes, along with some radishes and onions. WE have been eating well, so no complaints. also the flowers have been doing great. Right now we really need some rain so that everything keeps growing. Actually a tropical storm will be great.
