Mondays Musings

Well, gosh, it has been almost a year since I posted anything. After I got back from England, I fell sick with what I thought was possibly COVID. Nope, not that, but found out the week before Christmas that I had hundreds of blood clots in both lungs and a saddle pulmonary embolism. Either one should have killed me, but somehow,(by the grace of God) I survived. It has taken me several months (about 5) to feel like I was normal again. Now I am getting back to ME and starting to do the things that I love.

I have been doing @ the 100day project over on Instagram and have just finished that. Now I want to start working on other things that I would love to get done that I have not been able to do or feel like starting again. So my art work is taking center stage and I will be showing off different things that I make over the next few weeks. I have also been getting busy with my camera again, and trying to get some great photos as well as reorganizing this room and getting craft supplies either used up or gone. I have been sitting and going through stickers and papers. and trying to figure out what I can use them for, If not, they will be recycled to other people so that I can keep working on the things that I really enjoy. I am still taking painting classes and will be working on those for a while. I hope someday to really have a great working art room, where I can find things quickly and also having lots of art journals made and done.

I have several classes coming up, one being the Flowers Magic course by Francesca Nunes. and the other being the Central Fla. Bead retreat. That one is an in-person retreat and I am looking forward to going and getting some beadwork done. The other one is on-line and there are 14 teachers in 20 days. So lots of fun with that. I already have my books ready to go, and will be starting to put things in order for the classes. Then I also have some outstanding books to work on from Pink Paper Peppermints, that I would love to finish up soon. Then I will be getting ready for Her Heart of Thanksgiving which happens in November. I have done this for the last three years and can not wait to do this years. I think I have a lot to be thankful for. I also got really behind in my Bible study, so working on catching that up.

Here are some photos that I took this past week.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
See you next time down on the farm.

  1. Not a bit busy are you? 😄 Good for you for catching up, though, and I’m glad you’re much better after all these months! The photos are terrific, especially of the deer! Those are really really good! I would have loved to see them. Were they on the big lane?
