Today did not start off great. The mattress was delivered while I was not at home and then I had to get someone to help me get it up stairs only to figure out that they had sent the wrong one and then sat on the phone for over 1 hour to get someone to help to reschedule to send another one yet this week. Don’t know where I will be sleeping tonight because that mattress is horrible for me.

I picked up some figs today and want to make some figgy jam yet this week as well as get more stuff done. I have spent many hours working on one of the ornaments that I wanted to get done only to realize I just can not follow the instructions so it still is not right. I intend to get it done yet this week but I am going to take everything off the foam and start from the beginning.

I have started compiling a notebook of all the edible plants that I can find on the farm and recipes on how to use them. I hope to be able to find lots of different things here and them use them for either jams teas or medicinal tinctures. I can not wait to see what all I can find.
