Tuesdays triumphs

After spending 4 days at a bead retreat I came home and slept all day yesterday because my eyes were so tired. but today I have been busy getting things accomplished. My Dh has to go to Virginia tomorrow so I will have a few days to get things done and not worry about a set time schedule. I still have two classes from the retreat to finish and then I bought several kits ( about 8) so I will be getting to work on those after I finish up some that I have already started. Guess I am really back into the beading world now.

We have had lots of rain in the past few days which has been nice. The pond now has Bass stocked in it because the tilapia population was getting out of hand and we would have started having fish die off which would have defeated the whole idea of having an area to harvest fish.

I have almost finished my eco book. and the class will be over tomorrow. I can easily do another or just wait for a while until more flowers start to grow. I am not sure what I want to do. The next book will not have to be done quite so fast so I may start since I have lots of pages already made and that way I can just keep going with the ideas. I have actually enjoyed this class and might just take it again.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.

  1. I used to use oil pastels long long long ago and really enjoyed it. Actually, I loved working with all pastels. Then things happened and I haven’t been able to draw since. 😦 You’ll get the hang of it. Just think of them as watercolor brushes in a “crayon”. For a first go at it, you did really well!

The necklace is beautiful! You’ve always done beautiful bead work. Keep it up!

I love your eco drawing. You’re just incredibly talented when it comes to drawing! Well, with most anything artistic. Please tap me on the head and give me an iota of your talent!
