I have two eggs that are absolutely giving me grief when I try to dye them. They just won’t take the dye. I do not understand why and am at my wits end on what I need to do to make them work. I may have to start the first one from scratch again. Which I don’t want to. but I may not have a choice.

Finally got the garden weeded and now to plant the new plants that I want to put in there. It is taking lots longer then I thought it would, but I guess I never take into account that I am older and less able to stand the 101 heat that we are having right now. But I also went and got the fencing and hopefully that will make it better. I also need not to let it get so bad like I did this year.

My girlfriend comes into town tonight and we will spend the next few days doing not much of anything and then we are off to the Pysanky Retreat in New York. I am really looking forward to the retreat and learning even more about the dying process so that I can quit screwing it up.
