I have been taking a sketch book class and really having fun with it. I want to keep going and fill this little book up with small paintings for the fun of it. I also have a watercolor sketchbook that I am using just for watercolor paintings. I would like to make this a daily habit because it is fun and does not take long. the ones that take me the longest are the ones with abstract forms and all. I am not a great abstract painter unless it is flowers. Those I can do quickly.

I worked in the succulent garden for about 1 hour today and cleaned up the things that died and watered everyone else. I also got ready to trim back some of the ones that have grown too fast and try to get them to propagate more off the leaves. I also turned off the grow lights for a day to see how they will do.

It is hot as anything out side and I just spent some time in the greenhouse checking on the orchids which are really doing good. the one that was almost dead has started growing fresh roos and i am super happy about that.
