Mondays musing

Something interesting and scary happened over the weekend. My DH and I along with our electrician were cutting in the trench for the electrical line for his man cave. and I had let the Dogs out. Sasha was running ahead of me and Lexie was right by my feet. I turned and looked at Lexie for a second and Sasha disappeared.. I looked over to where the trencher machine was and she was not there. I looked at the chicken coop and she was not there either. Then I saw the area where they had cut out looking for the water line and ran over there, and there she was. Three feet down in the sand and dirt running back and forth and of course I could not reach her. I finally managed to reach her and puller her out. she was not hurt but boy did she attract all the dirt. I am beginning to realize that I am older that I want to be.

I have a few weeks off from some of my major classes, so I am using the time to get caught up on all the little things that don’t always get finished or done. so far today I have finished some small art projects and also prepped a board for painting and cleaned up my room and did some bible study. still going to do some more cleaning and a bit of artwork and then also find some more yarn to use on the Afghan that I am making.

I still have some more art that I want to get done, not required, but for fun and I hope to get them done this week as well as working on two major projects that I need to do. One being the Etsy store and the other being stuff for the business. I really hope to get that done, as well as spend some time in the shop working on the trains.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
