Mondays Musings

What a wonderful weekend. I had art classes on Saturday and It actually prompted me to dig out my art journal that I had not used in over 1 year and start doing some journaling again. Then Sunday was just a nice slow day with lots of reading and writing thoughts down on paper and just taking a nice nap in front of the fireplace. Ok, Yes I know that spring is here, but I still want to have a fire in the fireplace and enjoy myself for a bit more. I have been trying to plan some more down time to just relax and read or whatever for a while and I now feel like I am able to do that.

I took the car into the service place today and had to get work done on it. that I did not expect. But better to get it done now then to have to replace parts because I did not want to do the work. Now I am trying to get somewhat caught up, since my morning routine went out the window. and I want to spend time in the shop working so that I can get things caught up over there. I did notice when I got home that one of my trees had started blooming and I did get a few photos of that. I have wanted to get some photos of the moon, but she has not been cooperating. She did not get above the tree line until after 1030 pm last night and then the rain came. so maybe tonight.

I have been still working up the step program and think that I am about through. Most everything is now labeled and put into folders that I can actually find. as well as going thru old papers and finding some that are no longer good. I still have several major projects to do, but they will be scheduled into my week as well, so that I don’t just forget them or never get around to them.. Right now I feel really good about what I have accomplished and hope that it continues for the next yera so that it becomes a habit.

Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..

hawk in a tree,
snap dragons blooming
last of the cranes
