A start to a new day, my brain seems to be a bit more focused today. and things are getting done, although slowly. I have work to do in the shop and here in my studio upstairs. I have organized many things now to get going with the different projects that I want to do. Last night I make about 40 quilled flowers for different projects that I want to do, and I may work on them again tonight just for the fun of it.

I am working on getting several projects done, that were started but never finished. Right now I have a quilt that is very old and lots of the hand stitching has giver away and I am going to sit down and restitch the quilt. The motif is Sunbonnet Sue and it belonged to some one in DH’s family. I am thinking that it was his mothers when she was younger. So the quilt is over 60 years old. Then I have a quilt that I started way back in the day that I hand stitched, but never finished, I want to work on that as well.So I definitely have my work cut out for me.

Today, I intend to work out in the shop and try to get more stuff done there. as well as framing the geisha girl and hanging some of my paintings in the house. Then I want to get some other stuff done. and I am working on planning the garden for this next year . Tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, beans ,squash. and sunflowers are just some of the things I want to put in the garden.
