It is raining, and I do mean raining. I had some things that I wanted to do outside, but I think I will leave that for another day. So instead I am going to try to do some more organizing in this rom and some bead work. I have 76 more rows to go for the Geisha Girl and would love to get some more done today. Then I also want to figure out what I want to work on after I get her finished. I have plenty of kits and designs to do, I just need to get a plan started so that I can get organized.
The Word for next year is organization. I need to organize this room along with projects that are one and done, so that I can get things done and accomplished. You would think that I would have done this when this COVID started, but I was too busy trying to figure out what I wanted to do. I needed a break from the responsibility of all of it. Now I am better and ready to tackle this head on. I know that I will always be doing bead work, as well as the decorated eggs, and quilting. But I don’t need to keep doing the embroidery, or the felting or the crochet. The problem being is that I still have yarn and embroidery patterns sitting around that need to get finished. So I am planning to set aside one day a week next year to finish up these projects and then stop collecting everything like al the yarn and embroidery kits and the felting tools. That will clear up a lot of space in my room and allow me to have room to work on the things that matter.
I am also planning to really use my planner next year. I am starting to set that up now, and with starting the Etsy Shop. I am hoping that it will keep me on track to getting things done. I want it to sit front and center on my writing desk, so that I see it every morning. and can then work on the items that I have scheduled. This is going to be a big learning curve for me ad will help me (I hope) to balance out my life better. I will also be adding in my zoom classes that I am taking and keeping track of those as well a my painting classes.
