I took a bit of a break for a while and now I am back. I was getting a bit frazzled with all that I was trying to get accomplished and decided that once again, I need to get a bit choosy with what I need to do. Having said that, I know that I will always find myself in that particular predicament and will have to step back and get a grip on what I feel really is the most important.
I have been back in the blind taking photos and found with the new camera that I got myself, that I could get some great photos of the pond. I found buffleheads and wood ducks swimming down there and even could get some photos of the blue heron and deer. Of course, we also had a tree come down and it is blocking the view quite a bit, but it will be another month or so before we try to get it out. We don’t want to run the big tractors back there, while it is still hunting season.
I have been working very hard on getting the peyote Geisha Girl done. I think I still have about 84 rows to do, and I hope to have it done before Christmas. Of course, that may change, but I really want it done by the New Year. I want to finish getting this room set up better, and that project with all the beads that it takes, is in the way. I have done quite a bit to this room. but I would love to decrease the clutter a bit more. and even display less of what is on the shelves right now. but there is nothing that I want to get rid of, so that is a problem in and of itself.
I am keeping up with the 30 days of lists and having a great time writing them up. I am sorry that this is the last of the lists, because this has been so much fun.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
