Wednesdays Words

We had a nice rain storm yesterday. the garden and all the flowers certainly perked up afterwards. Everything is wanting to turn brown because of the heat. I admit, that if I was a plant here I would already have turned brown and given up.

I am really working to get a few UFOs done. I feel like I just wasted a whole month and have nothing to show for it, which is not a good feeling. So since we have a new month coming up. I am going to really try to get several things done and finished as well as keeping up with all the other stuff that I want to get done. This includes keeping up with my bible study’s, as well as getting some of the UFOs done, and getting more of my quilting done as well. In fact, I hope by this time next week, I can say that I have gotten 2 quilts done start to finish off the list in the barn. and working on #3. So that means lots of time out in the barn to get it all done. As well as lots of quiet time here in the house to get the other UFO’s done. ( UFO’s are unfinished objects, the list includes embroidery, 2 quilts, several bead projects, and who knows what else.

I am building a couple of small car huts on the property to take care of one vehicle and one tractor. I still need to finish getting Big Red (Dads old tractor) rebuilt but I need room in the barn for other equipment and I don’t need to leave my truck sitting out in all kinds of weather so she is getting a small hut to stay in. This on top of trying to keep up with all the other projects. Ummmmmm.
