Goodness, we had a rain storm just the other night that literally came out of now where and rained so hard that all the animals were spooked out. In the morning, my DH told me that we had 2.53 inches in 45 minutes. Dang, that is a lot of rain. But it did certainly make the grass grow.
I have been busy re-potting flowers/plants that are on the front porch. They are getting too big for the pots they are in, So I still have a few more to do, but have to wait until the sun starts to go down, because it is too hot outside. Speaking of too hot, I had to take the car into the dealer, because the air conditioner broke. and it is too hot in Fl. to not have air in the car.
I have spent the weekend working on getting some more of the UFO’s done and some more quilting. I actually feel like I am finally getting ahead. That won’t last, but for now the feeling is great. I also started going over some of my art classes, and refreshing myself on some of the techniques that I need to practice.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
