I can not believe how fast the days are going. This week is already half over and I still have so much to do. I did get caught up on my ornaments and have just about finished an egg that I have had for 4 years just sitting in a box. My girl friend will be happy that I finally got her kit done. I have also been working on another kit and just finished it today and have one more like it to do this week. Never mind that I have a prayer shawl to finish and several more to make as well as other things to finish. I am just too busy for my own good.
I am still organizing the studios and getting rid of things, and hope some day to have a much cleaner place to work, I think that there are certain crafts that I will stick to and others I will finish but not do again. I really want to keep up with my painting and of course the beading, and the egging, and a few others like the ornaments. Some day I will have a nice big tree with all the ornaments on it and no cats trying to climb in. I do have to admit that Tiger is very good about coming into my room, climbing up into a chair and falling asleep. Unlike his tortoise shell sister, who insists on eating everything. She is mouthy too, When I tell her to stop, she tells me off.
I broke down and scrubbed off some desk tops this week as well. They were so dirty that I could not stand touching them. Sticky and gross. But now with a good scrubbing, and some nice bees wax put back on, they look a lot better, and I don’t mind sitting there and working.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
