Well a good soaking rain yesterday and today. The garden is going to love it. I planted some more beans and peas and cucumbers so hopefully they will take off and grow . The rest of the garden is doing great. I need to pull the first bunch of beets and go ahead and pickle them.
I spent Saturday and Sunday working in the studio, not quilting, but cleaning and getting as many small projects done that I could. I did get the bottle tree made, now just to get it planted in the ground. Think that may have to happen later, since the rain is not going to help and the soil being so wet, will just suck the auger down and get it stuck. But that will be another major project done. I am going to start getting the quilts quilted this week so that I can get all that cleaned up. I also went through some boxes that I had stored under the quilt machine and reorganized them and found better homes for them as well. My studio is beginning to look better.
I have been busy here in the house getting things picked up and cleaned up as well, I need to make a run to goodwill and to the Friends of the Library soon to unload things that I no longer need. Also need to reorganize some cabinets so that I can fit more eggs into them for protection.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm..
