I had found a really neat mask at Hobby Lobby one time and it was just sitting around the shop waiting for inspiration to hit.  and Finally it did.   I found a photo on Pintrest that I liked and decided to do it.

First I took a newspaper and tea stained it.  Then I tore it into strips and applied it to the mask.

After fully applying the newspaper, I  allowed it to dry and then added a coat of modge podge.   After allowing that to dry.  I started to decorate it.

I added some flowers that I had left from another project, and then I wanted to added the butterflies.  The butterflies are clear acetate stickers that I placed on the tea stained newspaper and cut out.

I then added some beautiful gold beaded swirls which I had purchased from Marami Small Art  from You Tube.  I love her work and her store.  So if you ever want to find some neat things,  please check her out.  After applying the swirls,  I was done.
