I have been playing out in the shop with some small projects,  so I thought I should show them to you

One of the things that I had from moving the house in Indiana down to ‘Fla, was a very rotten doll.  The body was way beyond repair, but the head with the movable eyes was in great condition.   I decided that I wanted to do something with the head, so I blocked off the face with masking tape and did an acrylic pour with glitter added to the hair area.  I should say that the hair was molded  and not real hair.  I then put her on a glass candle stick that I had sprayed with silver paint, after I sprayed it with water.  That forms a resist and makes the object look like it is mercury glass.

I layered some nice lace under the head and attached it to the glass.  Then I decided to decorate the head some more.  I added a two silk flowers and more lace and a cute bird.   Then I decided that I needed  a crown of some type, so I added a blingy head band.

I had lots of fun remaking this doll head into something that I really like.
