My Goodness, that week flew by with great abashment and I could barely keeps up. but I did get things done, and I feel better because of it. I am still doing the bullet journal for this year, and I have also been doing some bible journaling which is enough to keep me busy. I also have been doing a lot of crochet and making prayer shawls for the church.
We had a really cold night, and so a lot of the stuff in the garden got snapped back if not out rightly killed. the squash plants never really produced, and I think that they are pretty dead nos along with the volunteer tomato plants. but you never know, they might just come back.
Found another red raccoon on the property. They are actually albino coons, so guess that there has been so major inbreeding somewhere. I am working on getting a bird feeder set up in the back, but I also have knee replacement surgery coming up in three weeks, so I don’t think that I will be sitting in the blind that much for a while.
I was told that I would be out of commission after the surgery for 6 weeks at least, and that it would take a year for me to heal completely. Sounds like a lot to handle, but to be pain free would be worth it. So I am beginning to get projects lined up to do, so that I can stay busy for those weeks.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
