It has been raining again, nearly all day. The woods in the back are soaked and the ground is really mucky. but every day of rain is a good day for the water table. And the pond in the back. We have it stocked with fish, but after seeing ducks and two herons and a falcon near there, I am not sure what might be left. I hope to put more in there come spring, and hope that they will grow up. I am looking forward to getting some fish to eat from there this next year.
I sat down last week and organized all my art supplies. I have not finished I still have one more area to do, and the shop outside. but at least I can find things now, and I might get stuff done. I am trying to get things in order so that I get more things finished and then getting some of my designs done. I am still working on the art journaling, and trying to use up all the supplies. That would certainly help in cleaning the room.
I have also been outside in the blind, doing some of my journaling. It is so perfect, quiet, and just relaxing so that I end up getting more done, then when I am in the house. Too much distraction. so I am thinking, that I may keep it up for a while after hunting season, that way I can get photos of the wildlife, and birds, and just have some fun as will as getting some writing done. Might be the best thing for my head.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
