Mondays Musings

Here we are at the beginning of the week. Time sure flies by when you are having fun. I went to Jacksonville for the NMRA meeting. We learned about programming for train whistles and lights. It was actually quite fun. We then went to the SunCoast train club and Joe got to run his engines on their layout.

The garden is growing, since we have had lots of rain in the past week. the carrots are doing great. and I can not wait until they are big enough to eat. I love carrots right out of the ground. Just brush the dirt off and start munching.

the resident hawk caught a snake yesterday. I wish that I could have gotten a photo of him flying away with a 4-6 foot snake in his claws. It was rather impressive. I hope he had a good meal.

I am getting ready for two different shows. Unfortunately they are on the same day. so I need to take stuff to the one a few days earlier and and then go on to the other one. I am still making things to take to the one, and I have a few things to get ready for the second. guess I am going to be busy.
