Wednesdays Words

while on vacation over in Europe,  I saw these cute little table centerpieces.  and I though,  those would be really nice to make and do different seasons.

So here is my take on what I saw.

I had several small clay pots , that I did acrylic pour over to give them multiple colors. after letting them dry really good and spraying a protective clear coat on them, I then gathered up my supplies.

  • Foam
  • small grapevine wreaths
  • flowers, gourds, small christmas, tree small berries,

First cut the foam to fit the inside of the pot.20190913_095515

Glue the grapevine wreath to the top of the pot20190913_095836

Then add a flower to the center of the pot,  The gourd And the christmas tree can also be used in the center of the pot.  Then add the small berries around the gourd, and sparkely berries around the christmas tree.

Thats all there is to it.

These would be great using several together for a centerpiece at Christmas using some of the different minature trees that are in the stores now.  Same with Thanksgiving, with gourds and pumpkins.  You could also use them for the 4th of July, using patriotic picks in them.  You can paint the pots to match the seasons, or tie a ribbon around the pot. 20190913_102227

These would also be beautiful as table favors for a wedding, using the brides colors in flowers and adding pearls and sparkle to the underside of the flowers.

Well,   that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
