I am working on some cute little DIY projects that would be great for Christmas presents for friends. I am also going thru stuff that I have had for a long time and looking to see if I want to keep doing the projects or finish what I have started and then get rid of the stuff. I really want to simplify my arts and crafts areas and have ;things that I am really into doing, instead of thousands of little projects that I just want to try and may never do them again.
I have always wanted to try making some paper and have had the supplies for years, and have not gotten around to it yet. I think that will be one of the projects that I try to get out of the barn and get done. Also making candles, and I have tons of supplies for that as well. I also have glass making supplies and a kiln, and that is something I really want to do, so I should probably get started on doing it.
I also have a couple hundred rocks that I want to cut and polish. This is something that I have been doing since I was a little girl. and I really love doing this. but there is so much other stuff in the way. I can not get to doing it all. Same with my chain maille. love working with it, but the mandrels for sizing the loops and the cutter is buried under other stuff. Something has to give. and I don’t know what.
Give up Quilting? or painting? or my N-scale trains? or Egg designing? or my Jewlery making? no, none of that is a good option. I guess I just enjoy being busy doing art in different forms.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
