The lady that works for the sewing machine guy came today and got the sewing machines, said that I should have them back on friday, which is not bad. I have been busy just cleaning up around my work areas, and trying to get ready for when I do get them back.
I have been working on expanding my business a bit and trying to get back into the miniture world. If that works I will be doing a few more shows a year which definatley help the business.
We pulled onions today to dry and keep, so that they will survivie, and we are starting to redo the beds in the garden because after 4 years and all the rain, the wood is starting to give away. So we are switching to metal beds that will also be a bit taller. which will allow for better root plants, such as potatoes, and carrots, beets and onions. The tomatoes are growing great and one plant that was a volunteer from last year has tomatoes on it already, just waiting for them to turn red.
I also got my eggs ready for the show in dallas next week. I hope that they sell. Of course I did break one but I think that I secreatly wanted that one for myself.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
