Well, it might have been St Patrick’s day over the weekend, but you would not have know it here. We just laid low and rested and did not do much of anything. I did work on some of my jewelry and an egg, a well as some fimo projects. I am just about caught up on some of the jewelry projects, but still have a ways to go on others.
The Garden is producing nicely, There are carrots, onions, beets, lettuce, kale, and herbs growing right now. In about two weeks we will add the peppers, tomatoes, sweet potatoes and radishes. I think we will have about 4 varieties of hot peppers and about 6 varieties of tomatoes. That should be a good garden this year. I also am checking out the secret garden on the side of the house and watching the plants putting out green leaves. I should be seeing some flowers soon, for the wisteria, and a few trees that we planted. the rest will flower in about another two months. I am also going to be finishing up the hummingbird garden with more flowers and a nice bird bath, and a sitting bench so that I can sit and take photos of the birds and the butterflies.
I am going to be finishing up some quilts this next month and getting some others started. I have had people using the quilt machine while I give them lessons on how to quilt their quilts. I am enjoying that a lot.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
