Here is a cute little project  for those of you who like working with wine corks. (  especially is you dring alot of wine.)

Get yourself a small or large (depending on the amout of wine corks you have ) tray.  Spray paint it what ever color you would like, or even stain it.

Once it is dry,  put glue in the bottom and start laying out ;your corks in a grid style. 2 X 2 .  You may have a gap on the side, where two won’t fit.  If that is the case then just add one for the first row.  on the second and continuing rows, you will still add the one, but place it in a different area each time so that you can maintain the 2X2 grid effect.

When I got to the end I had an area that only one cork would fit ,  I laid them in as they would fit and then added corks that had been cut upright on end to fill in the extra areas.

Finished product.  I did not add any finish to the corks because I loved the natural look of them.
