Wednesdays Words

Here is a simple and fun DIY for some table decorations for the holidays, or just for when you want to have a party

You will need paper napkins or tissue paper, Modge Podge,  scissors, and ribbons. Also an assortment of glass jars or vases.

We are going to use some glass canning jars or any other glass jar that you might have.  Start by washing the jars and allowing them to dry.  Then  separate the napkins down to one ply,( Most napkins are three ply,) you want to get the thinnest piece of paper to use.  Coat the Jar in Modge Podge, using a sponge brush and then lay your one ply of napkin over it and gently pat into place.20181108_082022

You can do the same with the tissue paper, and apply it to one of the glass jars.  Allow to dry completely.  Then go back and coat the outside of the jar with another coat of the Modge Podge  and allow to dry,  You can coat several times if you wish.

After they are completely dry you can then add ribbon to decorate and add a tea light inside  or a string of small Christmas lights.20181108_130218

There you have a completed table decoration for your table, with out breaking the bank.
