The beginning of a new week.  it rained a bit last night, and of course we should be seeing rain this week for the storm in the gulf.  But the weather was a lot cooler today,  so I got out and cleaned around the green house, and the chicken cage,  Found a pretty black Racer in the flower pots and  got him to move over to the wood pile . Pulled lots of weeds and got a bit cleaned up.  Tomorrow I need to clean up by the little house and then fertilize all the citrus and roses.

I am also working on some Halloween eggs and a few Christmas eggs.  I have been getting them painted and decorated and hope to get them done this week.  I also have some quilting to do and get a few new projects started.  I just joined a Mystery quilt along on FB, so that should keep me out of trouble for a while.

The garden has been planted with carrots, beets, kale, lettuce, onions, and Tomatoes.  The sweet potatoes are starting to get pulled up and they look very good.  I hope that everything grows so that we will have some good produce this fall.
