I went to go to the studio this morning,  bright and early and found a friend ,  who seemed to be a bit lost.  this little friend stayed around for the next 4 hours,  before I finally got  them to jump the fence and go on back into the woods.

I did get some work done in the studio.  I started block 2 of the Bee quilt from Jacqulynne Steves.   If you like doing small quilts and embroidery.  this is a person you should check out.  https://jacquelynnesteves.com/     She has some of the cutest patterns.

We are still working on the waterfall in the garden.  IT is working, but we are losing water, and so we need to go through and get all the little nooks and crannies filled where we don’t want the water to go.  But the flowers and the trees are growing nicely and I am really happy about the layout of everything.

I also started picking up Pecans this weekend.  Florida had a drought for a long time, and the trees stopped producing.  This year,  with all the rain since Hurricane Irma.  We got nuts.  I have not cracked any yet,  but I am keeping my fingers crossed that  they are going to turn out ok.  We had  9 trees here when I was a child, and now only 2 are left.  I have replanted 3 so far, and hope to add at least 3 more.
