It has rained every day, up to an inch several times this past week. Every thing is growing so fast, that we are having a hard time keeping up with the produce. This week-end I put up pickled peppers. They were a mixture of Bell peppers, Problanos Jalapenos, and sweet yellow Banana peppers. It will help for a while, and they are really good just eaten out of the jar, once they are cold.
I have also been getting caught up on doing some prayer shawls, and reading some quilting magazines. I am finally getting the shop cleaned up and hope to get a few quilts done this month. I also have some eggs that I am decorating, and a challenge egg to do for the next show , which is at the end of September. I also started an oil painting for the class I am taking. I hope to get that done this week.
I did finish my dolls from the class in Mexico. I enjoyed the classes. but I think that they needed to make them two days long. But I am willing to do something like that again.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
