Here it is already Wednesday, and I feel like I am behind. But I did get some pickling done. I pickled radishes this time. and thought they turned out really good. I will use them on salads and such for a bit of added flavor.
I spent the day working out in the barn/studio, getting ready for the next show. and I am tired. One would not think that sewing little bean bags would wear you out, but it does. I need to finish filling them and then I will be able to pack up for the show. It will be in Pennsylvania and I am hoping that we get good weather, while we are there. I am not too sure of driving in Snow, or on Ice. I am a Fl. girl after all.
The chicken have been busy producing lots of eggs, so the next thing I might pickle is eggs. I know that quail eggs are good pickled, wish I knew where to get some of those.
Here are some photos from the pickling session. Enjoy.
Well, that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time down on the farm.
