Wednesdays Words

Well,  today was clean the studio day,  and I have to say,  it did not go as quick as I wanted.  I am still working on it.  Hopefully it will be better by the time I go to bed.

I ate lunch with Winnie ( Red Tractor girl) today.  We like to get together once a month, at the Cracker Barrel in town and talk about what we have been doing.  Both of us are trying to par down on the amount of stuff we have.  I think that she might be doing better then me.   I just keep finding more stuff.

We had to kill a bobcat this week.  He had be staking out the chickens ( thankfully he couldn’t get to them)  but with two small dogs,  one of which has no fear of anything and loves to play.  we decided that he did not need to be next to the house where he could get to the dogs or the chickens, or us.20180119_091551

I have been doing some watercolor paintings.  it has been something that I have enjoyed doing but got out of the practice many years ago,  so one of my resolutions this year was to make time to paint.

Well,  that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next time. down on the farm.

  1. How great that you Farmgirls get together! Did you know each other before, or because of MJF? There are bobcats in my neighborhood, but I haven’t seen any lately. Headed toward mating season in the northeast, so they will be on the move. Lately we have been visited by fox, and many friends reporting the same. Love your watercolors, the middle one is my favorite. Looking forward to seeing more of your painting!
