Thanksgiving and all the trimmings

Table set and ready for the guests

Thanksgiving went off with out a hitch,  with all of the hubby’s family  present  and everyone had a great time.  the food was wonderful .  Two turkeys,  one wild,  which I had shot, and the other which my sister-in-law bought.  Also port roast and sweet potato casserole, cheeses and even a home made cheese cake.

Lots of eggs from the girls ,  they were the happy recipients of left over fruit and salads.   They are starting to molt and so egg production is going down a bit,  but hopefully it will go back up.  I really want to get some photos of the girls

A old quilt that I found in the stuff from my grand parents house.  I do believe that my grandmother made it.   I have gone thru lots of stuff in preparation of selling many things that I don’t need.

Well,  that’s all the news from the south,
Happy” farming” to all the farm girl sisters out there.
See you next week. down on the farm.
