Picking all the oranges off the tree
Well, after getting all the oranges picked off the tree and the Lemons, which are the size of grapefruit. I made two more batches of marmalade, and still have leftover oranges. The lemons I juice and freeze. They are great to make lemonade or to use in marinades for meat.
I have started getting the potatoes in for next year, and have all the seeds ready for planting in the garden when I know we will not get a hard freeze. It is supposed to get cold again this weekend. ( down into the 30s). I know for some of you that is not cold, but for here it is.
The siding is going up on the house and garage. and the painter is due to come this next week and start the outside. Electric is going in, and plumbing, the roofer should be here in a week and the air conditioner people should also be here soon, Waiting on an estimate for the foam insulation. and then that will go in. Drywall after that and then counters and the final touches. Sometime soon this house should be finished.
Those are actually white pelicans on the log. There were about 50 of them in that pond today. I wish I could have gotten a better photo of them.
