I have been running like a proverbial chicken whith my head chopped off. I don’t even really know which way is up. But time does not stand still for anyone, especially ones that find cancer has been dumpd into their laps. The next few months will be full of chemo and radiation appointments. After that we will take some time to do some of the things that we have been wanting to do but kept putting it of because there is always tomarrow. Well, tomarrow is not promised anymore.
I am slowly getting thru the list of things that need to be done and I have been putting off. Time to get them done. Nothing is hard to do, but procrastination is never a good trait and things keep piling up so I need to now concentrate on doing them. I have 20 plus quilts that need to be done, as well as some other projects. Dollhouses that need to be fixed up and others made. and art work to be done, and classes to finish. So the next year will be a big get it done, and do it now year. My new motto is Do it now, as I have a really bad problem with putting things away after I finish using them, and then can not find them when I need them again. So I spend lots of time looking for things when I should be working.
The garden is being switched to winter crops this week. We have cabbage and onions and some peas going in. Also I think some sweet potatoes. the rest of the garden plants are being fertalized and every is looking good. I need to have everything ready for winter to be able to cover the outside plants when itis going to get really cold. So I am stocking up on plastic and other things to wrap the plants in.
Well thats all the news, See ya down on the farm.
