YOu know the old saying that when it rains it pours. That has been the last few days this week. My DH is in the hospital having surgery on his brain this morning, and to say that I am about to become unglued is an understatement. But I am trying to hold it together and get us thru this newest health crisis and hope for a good outcome for him and for us.

We got 2 inches of rain yesterday, the first in a while and the pond and the grass certainly were happy. I would love to see more rain but I don’t know when that might happen. I have been working hard to remember to water the plants on the front porch and I think I might have to replace a few succulents soon to.

I have been working on thea cookbook for our church and had to convert some PDF documents to Word so that I could edit them and get them in the book. I have two more to do and more coming from people still. I can not wait to see this cookbook when it is done.
